DIY Dog Dinners: Thanksgiving Dinner

DIY Dog Dinners can be fun to make and change up your dog’s diet. Dogs love having some variety, because just like us humans, they get bored of the same old thing every single day.

I recommend trying the LickiMat Buddy, as it helps your dog de-stress, unwind and release endorphins, the happy hormone. It helps create healthy licking habits.

This DIY Dog Dinner will take approximately 15 minutes.

DIY Dog Dinners: Thanksgiving Dinner

  1. Ingredients

    1/4 cup peas
    1/2 cup carrots
    1/4 cup green beans
1 1/2 cup turkey (adjust to your liking)

  2. Mix!

Heat up 1 and 1/2 cups white meat of unseasoned turkey, you can use less if you’d like. Cut it into chunks.
Add in 1/4 cup peas, 1/2 cup carrots, and 1/4 cup green beans. Mix together.
You can add cranberries, here is a guide:
Small Dogs: 1-2 cranberries a day
Medium Dogs: 3-5 cranberries a day
Large dogs: 5-9 cranberries a day

Depending on how large your dog is these are healthy amounts to give. If they eat too many they will get a bellyache and not feel well, but should get better in 24-48 hours.

  3. Serve!

Serve this yummy, festive meal to your pooch.
Around (rounded off to) 400 calories.
Adjust amount to better suit your dog.
