Ingredients you need to make your Veggie Blend DIY Dog Dinner

  • Roasted Chicken
  • About 1 teaspoon shredded carrots
  • About 1 teaspoon peas
  • Corn

Directions to Make Veggie Blend Dog Dinner

Time needed: 5 minutes.

Veggie Blend Dinner

  1. Prepare the chicken

Get your roasted chicken (and an adult) and cut up the white meat in bite-sized pieces. Do not add any seasoning or toppings. Pour into your dog’s bowl.

  2. Prepare the peas and corn

If you’re using canned peas and corn, use a strainer to remove the water, so you have peas and corn kernels. If you’re using corn-on-the-cob, prepare using directions and cut the kernels off the cob. Corn cobs are toxic to dogs. Again, do not add any toppings. Pour into your dog’s bowl with the chicken.

  3. Prepare the carrots

If you are using the shredded carrots that come in a bag, scoop about 1 teaspoon of the shredded carrots into your dog’s bowl with the other ingredients. If you use whole carrots, get an adult to help you shred the carrots in your shredder, and pour in about 1 teaspoon of the shredded carrots into your dog’s bowl.

  4. Mix it up!

Mix it all together with your hands, so the ingredients are all blended.

  5. Finished!

You just made your dog dinner. Kick back and be proud of yourself. Great job! (oh, remember to let your dog eat now.)
