First, you’re going to need a mold. I recommend these two molds. They are both pinch-test approved, meaning they have no fillers, just the silicone. They are also both BPA free so that they won’t cause cancer. One is bear-shaped. The bear one comes with 4 sheets. You don’t need to use all those sheets! The other one has dog bones and paw prints. It comes with 5 sheets.

Ingredients to Make DIY Dog Gummies

  • Gelatin Powder. VERY IMPORTANT MAKE SURE UNSWEETENED
  • 1 Beetroot
  • 1/4 cup Cranberries
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup honey

DIY Dog Gummies

  1. Make the Mix!

Slice the beetroot and place it in a pot with about 1 cup cold water. Poke a hole into the cranberries and put them into the pot.

  2. Heat it up!

Put your burner on medium. Once the mixture starts to boil, let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Let it cool.

  3. Separate!

You can use a strainer to separate the skin of the beetroot and cranberries from the juice. Pour the juice into the pot. Pour 2 tablespoons of the unsweetened gelatin into the pot.
Put the burner on low and stir until the gelatin dissolves. While stirring, add the honey.

  4. Set!

Now that the gelatin has dissolved, you can pour the mix into your molds. *TIP! Put the molds on a baking sheet before you pour in the mix!* Put them in the refrigerator until they’ve set.

  5. Finished!

You made your dog some gummies! Don’t give them too many! 😉
